I'll admit I went a little overboard last Friday when I tagged most of the blogosphere with The Band Meme, but honestly folks, this meme is sooooo much fun. I've had a blast this weekend getting to know the rock stars in all of you. Who knew a bunch of peace bloggers and prosers could be so musically prolific?

Mel at Monday Morning Power suggested that I invite all of the participants to copy this post onto their page for maximum linkage. I think that's an excellent idea. We could all use some link love in the new year. So feel free but not obligated. There is a compiled link list at the bottom of this post for your convenience.

Can you guess who the covers below to? Some of them fit in a truly eerie way! Have fun. You will be introduced to new bloggers along the way. There are a few real surprises in the bunch. You were incredibly creative with your posts. Most of all, it was hilarious (and serious too) to see the variety of styles and combinations of words and colors. Even more fun to listen to some of you fuss and fume with Paintshop programs only to find that you really did have a talent for graphics after all. The band memes are extremely thought-provoking; some would be excellent names for real bands. Wanna play?

What does one hope for when tossing out a meme? One or two responses? An excellent post? They're ALL excellent with 35 contributors thus far checking in from the 82 bloggers I tagged on Friday. A few people made more than one album cover.

Which means that exactly 47 of you meme dodgers are in big doo-doo trouble (as Daisy would say. Hey! Where is Daisy's meme?) What's that? Oh Lord. It just changed to 36. I have to start all over. Somebody added a mandolin at the last minute.
